NSW Fair Trading has introduced a series of enhancements to Strata Hub that are designed to make common administrative tasks simpler for strata managers and improve the way strata management firms present themselves to prospective clients.

The updates, delivered from 26 May 2026, focus on streamlining agency management, scheme transfers and collaboration on capital works planning.

What’s changed?

Multiple agency profiles under one registration

Strata managers can now maintain multiple strata management agency business profiles using a single registration.

A simpler transfer process

The strata managing agent transfer process has been improved, giving incoming managers the flexibility to enter licence details directly when a scheme is transferred to them on Strata Hub. This should help reduce friction during agency transitions and support a smoother handover process.

Better visibility through Strata manager finder

The Strata manager finder has also been enhanced, with improved search functionality and additional search options that make it easier for strata property owners to find a manager that suits their needs. For strata management firms, this provides a stronger opportunity to promote their services and improve visibility through the Strata Hub directory.

Capital works fund planner collaboration

Fair Trading has also introduced a useful collaboration feature within the Capital works fund planner. Draft plans can now be shared for input and review, making it easier to work together before a plan is finalised.

While the planner is available to all schemes, the update is particularly valuable for smaller schemes (up to six lots).
