FAIR TRADING CPD COURSES

Completing your mandatory Fair Trading CPD requirements is easy with SCA (NSW).

Fair Trading CPD Requirements 

Class 1 Strata Managers must complete 11 hours of Fair Trading mandatory CPD between 1 July 2026 and 30 June 2027. 

These hours must consist of: 

  • 6 hours – Interactive training delivered by an approved provider covering 3 compulsory CPD topics and successful completion of the associated assessment modules: 
    • Regulatory change in strata 
    • Repairs and maintenance 
    • Roles, authority and risk 
  • 5 hours - Attend a NSW Fair Trading accredited forum relevant to each licence category they hold, in addition to their core CPD hours, and successful completion of the associated assessment modules.  
    • Fair Trading, delivered face to face and/or online 
    • Can be completed through SCA (NSW), dates to come soon 

Class 2 Strata Managers must complete 6  hours of Fair Trading mandatory CPD between 1 July 2026 and 30 June 2027. 

These hours consist of: 

  • 6 hours – Interactive training delivered by an approved provider covering 3 compulsory CPD topics and successful completion of the associated assessment modules: 
    • Regulatory change in strata 
    • Repairs and maintenance 
    • Roles, authority and risk 

Assistant Agents must complete units of Certificate IV in Strata Community Management. The number of units required to complete, depends on the effective date of your licence. 

  • Effective date before 1 October 2026 = 3 units 
  • Effective date after 1 October 2026 = 1 unit

Fair Trading CPD Courses

The SCA (NSW) Education Centre offers you multiple options to complete your 6  hours of FT CPD: 

  • Face-to Face Roadshows – multiple locations and dates.
  • Interactive Online Roadshow – live training online
  • Direct Training Sessions, at your office (minimum attendee numbers apply).
